Cara Memilih Laptop/ Notebook/ Netbook

Dewasa ini laptop sudah menjadi hal yang umum di masyarakat, banyak orang jalan-jalan, kerja dengan menggunakan teknologi ini. Bagi anda yang ingin membeli laptop atau notebook atau netbook janganlah sampai salah pilih. disini ada sedikit cara bagaimana untuk memilih laptop .


  1.   Read through How to Choose a Desktop Computer. The "Before you shop" points and most of "The basics" also apply when shopping for a laptop.
  2. Pick up the laptops at the store. (Ask to have them unlocked if necessary.) Choose one that feels sturdy, solid and not too heavy.
  3. Try the keyboard. Since you can't replace it (except with the exact same item), make sure you're comfortable with its touch and responsiveness. Test it on a desk and on your lap.
  4. Test the pointing device, track pad or track ball, the laptop alternatives to a mouse. Some of these can be hard to master. You'll be able to connect an external mouse, but the built-in device is more handy when you're mobile.
  5. Check if the computer's bottom gets uncomfortably hot when it's running--a problem if you actually use the laptop on your lap.
  6. Pay attention to screen size and resolution. Current liquid-crystal display (LCD) screens on laptops measure from 13 to 21 inches diagonally. Screen resolution may be as low as 800 x 600 pixels or as high as 1600 x 1200. The more pixels, the crisper the screen image. View the screen in a variety of settings: A screen that looks great in normal room lighting can look terrible in bright or dim light.
  7. Choose a laptop with at least two USB 2 connections and at least one Firewire (IEEE1394) connection. USB 2 and Firewire are very popular and fast ways of connecting iPods, digital cameras and some phones to computers.
  8. Check to see if the laptop has built in wireless capabilities, most do these days. A wireless network card (also called Wi-Fi or 802.11) will free you from having to be wired to your Internet connection (see How to Network Your Computers). Also, Bluetooth capability will let you share information wirelessly with other Bluetooth-equipped devices, such as your cell phone or personal digital assistant.
  9. Check to see if the laptop has a DVD Burner. That makes backing up documents, music files and pictures a snap because of the high capacity of the discs.
  10. Get an antitheft device. Hundreds of thousands of laptops are stolen every year. Look for cables that secure the laptop to a desk. Install software that disables a stolen laptop, or better yet, reports the laptop's location when it connects to the Internet.

Prosesor Intel Core i7, Tercepat dan Terbaru saat ini

Intel Corporation meluncurkan prosesor dekstop yang diklaim merupakan tercepat saat ini yaitu prosesor Intel Core i7 dengan kecepatan 40 persen dari prosesor yang tercepat yaitu prosesor Intel Extreme.

Country Manager Intel Indonesia Corporation Budi Waluyo Jati dalam acara peluncuran Prosesor Intel Core i7 di Jakarta, Kamis, mengatakan, pihaknya meluncurkan tiga produk dari seri Intel Cor i7 yang merupakan keluarga prosesor Nehalem.

Prosesor Intel Core i7 diklaim dapat mempercepat proses komputasi untuk bermain game, edit video, dan melakukan aktivitas komputasi populer lainnya hingga 40 persen lebih cepat tanpa meningkatkan konsumsi energi.

Intel mengklaim prosesor Core i7 ini merupakan keajaiban teknologi industri komputer yang meraih nilai 177 untuk tes SPECint_base_rate2006 yang mensimulasikan beberapa tugas untuk mengukur kecepatan prosesor.

"Ini merupakan pertama kalinya prosesor tunggal melebihi skor 100 poin," kata Budi.

Prosesor Intel Core i7 ini mempunyai dua teknologi unggul yaitu Turbo Boost Intel dan Hyper-Threading Technology.

Teknologi Turbo Boost Intel dengan transistor power gate berbagis teknologi proses manufaktur 45 nanometer, high-k metal gate, yang akan membuat kinerja komputer lebih cepat lagi dengan empat individual processing cores untuk aplikasi single dan multi threaded.

Prosesor Intel Core i7 meningkatkan bandwidth memori lebih dari dua kali lipat dibandingkan platform prosesor Intel Extreme sehingga mampu mempercepat transfer bits dan bites baik keluar maupun masuk dari dan ke prosesor dengan Intel Quickpath Technology.

Sedangkan Hyper-Threading Technology yang memungkinkan multiple computing threads untuk dapat bekerja secara simultan dan secara efektif memungkinkan prosesor melakukan dua hal secara bersamaan.

Prosesor Core i7 dan Intel Desktop Board DX58SO Extreme Series yang berbasiskan Intel X58 Express Chipset akan dijual segera oleh beberapa perusahaan manufaktur komputer.

Budi menambahkan Prosesor Core i7 ini akan dijual di lebih dari 70 negara, dengan lebih dari 500 sistem yang sudah tersedia dan bisa digunakan di 35 motherboard yang berbeda.

Prosesor Core i7 dengan Clock speed 2,93 GHz dijual dengan harga 562 dolar AS, sedangkan Prosesor Core i7 dengan Clock speed 2,66 GHz dijual dengan harga 284 dolar AS.

Easy Step to Improve Your Google Rankings

Organic Google traffic is free advertising and how most bloggers (especially those just starting out) achieve visitors and traffic to their site. It all comes down to a simple numbers game. Essentially, more traffic = more money-making opportunities from your blog. The question is, how do you get ranked higher for my blog posts using Blogger?
Before I tell you how, let me give you a quick lesson is search engine optimization (aka SEO). There are two main components: “off-page” and “on-page” optimization. “Off-page” SEO refers to tactics such as link building. The more websites that point their links to your blog/website, the better. It’s a democratic way of showing Google that your site must be important if lots of people are pointing to it. Even more important with “off-page” inbound links is the actual link text (anchor text) that is used to point to your site.
Here’s my proof. If you search Google for the term “click here” you’ll see that Adobe Reader and Apple’s Quicktime software are in the top 3 results. Why? Because so many other sites are linking to these two sites with “click here” as the anchor text to download their software. That’s the power of “off-page” SEO which you as a blogger can’t do much about besides writing such great unique content that generates lots of links.
So with “on-page” SEO you have complete control over how well you’re optimized for Google. This includes keywords in your post titles, title tags, using header tags (h1, h2) and other tactics. Now the one we’re going to focus on in this article is the blog title tag.
Title tags are one of the most (if not the most) important “on-page” elements to ranking high in Google. Search engines such as Google weigh the importance of each word in the title from left to right. So ideally you want your blog post title all the way to the left and your actual blog name to the right. Below is a perfect example of how this should look. You can also check out our Premium Revolution Template which is currently using this technique as well.

Blogger templates by default don’t come with search engine optimized (SEO) title tags meaning you aren’t maximizing your blog to rank better in Google. If you take a look at your existing Blogger title you’ll see that blogger displays the blog name first then followed by your post title. They have it backwards so let’s get your blog setup properly.
We’re going to have to make a quick edit to your Blogger template which might intimidate some of you but it’s very small and painless. All I ask you to do first is to backup your template just in case you make a boo boo. That makes it easy to revert back without much headache.

Step #1

In your Blogger dashboard, go to “Layout” => “Edit HTML”.

Step #2

In the template code, do a search for this: <data:blog.pageTitle/>. It’s usually in the first 5-10 lines of code in your template near the top.

Step #3

Replace that bit of code with the following code:

<data:blog.title/>

Step #4

Save your template and go back to your blog. Click into any individual post and look at the page title.
All your blogger posts are now much better optimized to rank higher in Google. I’m not going to promise you a night and day difference but you’ve taken a step in the right direction. Now just go post unique high quality content so people searching Google will find your blog first!

Prosesor “Xirka” bermuatan chips WiMax produksi industri TIK Nasional.

Ditengah segala keterbatasan dana riset Pemerintah dan apalagi institusi swasta Nasional umumnya di Indonesia yang dalam himpitan krisis ekonomi global yang masih terus berlangsung selepas tengah tahun 2008 yl ; ternyata bisnis layanan teknologi TIK di tanah air dapat tetap tumbuh positip malahan mampu melahirkan suatu langkah maju yang amat penting, yakni dengan peluncuran untuk pertama kali produksi microchips prosesor “XirkA” yang dirancang serta diproduksi sendiri di tanah air.

Your serial number or activation code can be found both on your order details page and in the email order confirmation sent to your email address. If you've closed your browser window before writing down your serial number or activation code, and can't find your order confirmation email, try the following:

  • login to your MSDNAA software center
  • click on My Profile
  • click on My Software
  • select the software you've ordered
  • click on the View Order Details button
Your serial number will be displayed on this page. If you still don't see a serial number, it's possible the software you are installing doesn't require one. We recommend you begin the install first.
If you are prompted for a serial number during the install and didn't find one on the order details page, please send an email to Kemas Rahmat Saleh Wiharja and include the following information:

  • the email you use to login to the system
  • the software title you're trying to download

Tips Merawat Komputer

 Sayang kan klo kompi kita cepet rusak. so, yuk kita rawat kompi kita. ne bagi-bagi ilmu aja .

1. Defrag harddisk secara berkala. Fungsi defrag adalah untuk menata dan mengurutkan file-file harddisk berdasarkan jenis file/data sedemikian rupa sehingga akan mempermudah proses read/write sehingga beban kerja akan lebih ringan yg akhirnya dapat memperpanjang umur harddisk. Caranya klik menu Start > Program > Accesories > System Tool > Disk Defragmenter. Saat menjalankan fungsi ini tidak boleh ada program lain yg berjalan termasuk screensaver karena akan mengacaukan fungsi defrag ini.

2. Aktifkan screensaver Selain bersifat estetis, screensaver mempunyai fungsi lain yg penting. Monitor CRT juga televisi menggunakan fosfor untuk menampilkan gambar. Kalau monitor menampilkan gambar yg sama untuk beberapa saat maka ada fosfor yang menyala terus menerus. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan monitor bermasalah yaitu gambar menjadi redup/kurang jelas. Lain halnya jika monitor anda adalah LCD, LED yg sudah dilengkapi dengan energy saving, maka screensaver tidak terlalu dibutuhkan lagi. Cara+ mengaktifkan screensaver dapat dilakukan dengan banyak cara, salah satunya klik Start > Control Panel > Display > klik tab screensaver, kemudian pilih sesuai selera .

3. Ventilasi yang cukup Tempatkan monitor maupun CPU sedemikian rupa sehingga ventilasi udara dari dan ke monitor / CPU cukup lancar. Ventilasi yg kurang baik akan menyebabkan panas berlebihan sehingga komponen/rangkaian elektronik di dalamnya akan menjadi cepat panas sehingga dapat memperpendek umur komponen tsb. Oleh karena itu usahakan jarak antara monitor/CPU dengan dinding/tembok minimal 30 cm. Kalau perlu pasang kipas angin di dalam ruangan.

4. Pakailah UPS atau stavolt.Pakailah UPS untuk mengantisipasi listrik mati secara tiba-tiba yg dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan pada harddisk. Kalau terpaksa tidak ada UPS, pakailah Stavolt untuk mengantisipasi naik turunnya tegangan listrik.

5. Tutup / close program yg tidak berguna Setiap program yg diload atau dijalankan membutuhkan memory (RAM) sehingga semakin banyak program yg dijalankan semakin banyak memory yg tersita. Hal ini selain dapat menyebabkan Kompie berjalan lambat (lelet) juga beban kerja menjadi lebih berat yg akhirnya dapat memperpendek umur komponen/Kompie.

6. Install program antivirus dan update secara berkala Untuk dapat mengenali virus/trojan2 baru sebaiknya update program antivirus secara berkala. Virus yg terlanjur menyebar di komputer dapat membuat anda menginstall ulang Kompie. Hal ini selain membutuhkan biaya juga akan menyebabkan harddisk Ente akan lebih cepat rusak dibanding apabila tidak sering diinstall ulang.

7. Bersihkan Recycle Bin secara rutinSebenarnya file/folder yg kita hapus tidak langsung hilang dari harddisk karena akan ditampung dahulu di Recycle Bin ini dengan maksud agar suatu saat apabila anda masih membutuhkannya dapat mengembalikan lagi. Recycle Bin yg sudah banyak juga akan menyita ruang harddisk yg dapat menyebabkan pembacaan harddisk jadi lelet.Caranya jalankan Windows Explorer > klik Recycle Bin > klik File > klik Empty Recyle Bin Atau dapat menjalankan fungsi Disk Cleanup Caranya Klik Start > Program > Accessories > System Tool > Disk Cleanup > kemudian pilih drive yg mau dibersihkan > setelah itu centangilah opsi Recycle Bin kalau perlu centangi juga yg lain (seperti temporary file, temporary internet file), setelah klik OK.

8. Jangan meletakkan Speacker Active terlalu dekat dengan monitor Karena medan magnet yang ada pada speaker tersebut akan mempengaruhi monitor yaitu warna monitor menjadi tidak rata atau belang-belang.

9. Uninstall atau buang program yg tidak berguna Ruang harddisk yg terlalu banyak tersita akan memperlambat proses read/write harddisk sehingga beban kerjanya akan lebih berat sehingga harddisk akan cepat rusak.

10. Bersihkan motherboard & periferal lain dari debu secara berkala. Setidaknya enam bulan sekali hal ini harus dilakukan. Buka casingnya terlebih dahulu kemudian bersihkan motherboard dan periferal lain (RAM, Video Card, Modem, Sound Card, CDR/CDRW/DVRW, TV Tuner) dengan sikat halus. Pada saat komputer tidak digunakan tutuplah komputer (monitor, CPU, keyboard/mouse) dengan cover sehingga debu tidak mudah masuk ke dalam Kompie.

11. Pasang kabel ground. Apabila casing nyetrum, ambil kabel dengan panjang seperlunya, ujung satu dihubungkan dengan badan CPU (pada casing) sedangkan ujung yg lain ditanam dalam tanah. Hal ini akan dapat menetralkan arus listrik yg “nyasar” sehingga dapat membuat komponen elektronik lebih awet

Walau bagaimanapun untuk ukuran spesifikasi yang sama jelas PC lebih tangguh daripada laptop, jadi Anda harus merawat laptop atau notebook Anda dengan baik. 1. Hati-hati mendownload software gratis dari internet

Terlebih jika software yang seolah-olah suatu antivirus. Gunakan software-software yang telah Anda dapatkan dari paket laptop yang Anda beli. Risiko laptop terinjak kaki orang, mungkin anak Anda, atau binatang peliharaan akan sangat besar. Seringkali dijumpai seseorang yang menggunakan laptop, kemudian meletakkan kertas-kertas di atas keyboard laptop, kemudian menutup laptopnya. Hal ini sangat berbahaya, karena risiko layar tergores menjadi besar. Tentunya Anda tidak ingin mengganti layar laptop gara-gara tergores bukan?

5. Jangan letakkan laptop Anda pada permukaan yang terlalu empuk


Misalnya laptop Anda letakkan pada sofa yang sangat empuk, sehingga laptop menjadi terlihat agak tenggelam di dalam sofa. Ini adalah sangat berbahaya, karena dapat menghambat keluarnya panas dari dalam laptop. Sirkulasi udara akan sangat terganggu di ruang processor.

6. Berhati-hatilah ketika membawa laptop Anda di dalam tas

Jangan gunakan sembarang tas untuk membawa laptop Anda. Gunakan tas yang memang digunakan untuk laptop sehingga benda-benda lainnya tidak akan menggores bagian-bagian tertentu pada laptop. Hati-hati juga memilih tas laptop, kalau bisa jangan yang murahan.

7. Jangan makan minum dan meletakkan benda mengandung cairan di sekitar laptop

Ini sangatlah berbahaya, karena laptop sangat peka terhadap cairan yang mengenai laptop, misalnya saja cairan yang masuk ke dalam keyboard.

8. Jangan pernah berusaha untuk membongkar laptop Anda sendiri


Ini merupakan tindakan yang sangat tidak bijaksana kecuali Anda memang seorang teknisi laptop. Laptop bukanlah seperti radio atau tape recorder biasa. Banyak bagian-bagian yang sangat kecil yang dari pabriknya saja sudah dirakit dengan menggunakan presisi robot. Jika Anda ceroboh, maka laptop Anda bisa rusak parah. Bawalah selalu laptop yang rusak ke dealer atau service center dari laptop Anda.

9. Bersihkan laptop secara berkala


Jangan malas, karena jika laptop terlalu kotor, maka akan menghambat ventilasi udara, sudah minim ruang didalam laptop jangan diperparah dengan sumbatan debu. Selain itu jika terlalu kotor biasanya mengakibatkan layar LCD tergores saat dibersihkan, karena gumpalan debu yang terlindas kain lap.

Installing Wordpress @ Localhost (offline)

Wordpress can be installed on the localhost (local network computers) are indicated by http://127.0.0.1 to http://localhost or default. The term used to describe graphical systems with this style of interaction was first
used by Shneiderman (1982). He called them “direct manipulation” systems, suggesting
that they possess the following characteristics:
The system is portrayed as an extension of the real world. It is assumed that a person
is already familiar with the objects and actions in his or her environment of
interest. The system simply replicates them and portrays them on a different
medium, the screen. A person has the power to access and modify these objects,
including windows. A person is allowed to work in a familiar environment and
in a familiar way, focusing on the data, not the application and tools. The physical
organization of the system, which most often is unfamiliar, is hidden from
view and is not a distraction.
Objects and actions are continuously visible. Like one’s desktop, objects are continuously
visible. Reminders of actions to be performed are also obvious, where
labeled buttons replace complex syntax and command names. Cursor action and
motion occurs in physically obvious and intuitively natural ways. Nelson (1980) described this concept as virtual reality, a representation of reality that can be
manipulated. Hatfield (1981) is credited with calling it WYSIWYG (what you see
is what you get). Rutkowski (1982) described it as transparency, where one’s intellect
is applied to the task, not the tool. Hutchins, Hollan, and Norman (1986) considered
it direct involvement with the world of objects rather than communicating
with an intermediary.
One problem in direct manipulation, however, is that there is no direct analogy
on the desk for all necessary windowing operations. A piece of paper on
one’s desk maintains a constant size, never shrinking or growing. Windows can
do both. Solving this problem required embedding a control panel, a familiar
concept to most people, in a window’s border. This control panel is manipulated,
not the window itself.
Actions are rapid and incremental with visible display of results. Because tactile
feedback is not yet possible (as would occur with one’s hand when one touches
something), the results of actions are immediately displayed visually on the
screen in their new and current form. Auditory feedback may also be provided.
The impact of a previous action is quickly seen, and the evolution of tasks is continuous
and effortless.
Incremental actions are easily reversible. Finally, actions, if discovered to be incorrect
or not desired, can be easily undone.

Indirect Manipulation
In practice, direct manipulation of all screen objects and actions may not be feasible
because of the following:
-The operation may be difficult to conceptualize in the graphical system.
-The amount of space available for placing manipulation controls in the window
border may be limited.
-It may be difficult for people to learn and remember all of the necessary operations
and actions.
When this occurs, indirect manipulation is provided. Indirect manipulation substitutes
words and text, such as pull-down or pop-up menus, for symbols, and substitutes typing
for pointing. Most window systems are a combination of both direct and indirect manipulation. A menu may be accessed by pointing at a menu icon and then selecting
it (direct manipulation). The menu itself, however, is a textual list of operations (indirect
manipulation). When an operation is selected from the list, by pointing or typing,
the system executes it as a command.
Which style of interaction — direct manipulation, indirect manipulation, or a combination
of both — is best, under what conditions and for whom, remains a question
for which the answer still eludes us.

Amount of information. Typically, an intranet site is much larger than an organization’s
Internet site. Massive amounts of information and processes seem to be needed to make an organization function. It

has been estimated that an intranet
site can be ten to one hundred times larger than its corresponding public site.
Hardware and software. Because intranets exist in a controlled environment, the
kinds of computers, monitors, browsers, and other software can be restricted or
standardized. The need for cross-platform compatibility is minimized or eliminated,
permitting more predictable design. Upgraded communications also permit
intranets to run from a hundred to a thousand times faster than typical
Internet access can. This allows the use of rich graphics and multimedia, screen
elements that contribute to very slow download times for most Internet users.
Design philosophy. Implementation on the intranet of current text-based and GUI
applications will present a user model similar to those that have existed in other
domains. This will cause a swing back to more traditional GUI designs—designs
that will also incorporate the visual appeal of the Web, but eliminate many of its
useless, promotional, and distracting features. The resulting GUI hybrids will be
